Navori Content Management System

Leading pioneer and innovator in digital signage

Software

PTG has selected Navori Content Management System as our software partner for this proposal. Navori is a digital signage software company and a recognized leader in the industry for over 21 years. Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, Navori is a global company with offices across the America’s, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. During its 20+ years of existence, the Navori QL Digital Signage Platform has successfully been deployed in over 115 countries, with a total of 1,200,000+ player endpoints deployed worldwide.

  • Innovation - Navori is a company that re-invests 20% of annual revenues directly back into research and development every year. This model has allowed Navori to innovate, evolve the product, and grow, uniquely positioning itself as a software provider that is consistently recognized as leveraging the latest and most relevant technologies available globally.
  • Ease of Use - Choosing an intuitive and user-friendly toolset will guarantee internal buy-in, engagement, and ultimately a successful and well managed digital signage network.

Navori CMS is the most user-friendly offering on the market today. Navori explicitly develops its software tools with operators and end users in mind in order to provide a great experience, while at the same time lowering the barrier to entry and total cost of ownership (TCO). Using intuitive software tools will significantly reduce the time and effort normally spent on digesting immense user manuals and attending lengthy training sessions.

To use the Navori CMS, users will not need to install any software on their local computers. Users can simply open the web browser of their choice, where they will be met with a clear and intuitive layout powered by a modernized HTML5 based user interface.

  • No local software to install
  • Modern and intuitive HTML 5 user interface
  • Simplicity without a compromise in quality or functionality
  • ‘Windows like’ drag & drop navigation
  • No scripting or programming knowledge required
  • All operating systems and web browsers are supported

Hardware Agnostic: The Navori QL Digital Signage Platform is hardware agnostic, allowing end users to select the player hardware and operating systems that best suit their needs from both a technological and costing perspective. Unlike other vendors, Navori is putting the hardware choices in the end user’s hands while guaranteeing professional grade performance and interoperability across all platforms. Interoperability is of utmost importance as it guarantees that all platform features are available regardless of media player hardware/OS choices. End users are also free to run digital signage networks comprised of many different media player types without the need to modify workflows.

Key Features of Navori for Nissan

  • Scheduling - Schedule content and updates up to a year in advance by groups, regions, tags or individual player specific.
  • Security - Control access to a granular level across all your devices.  The use of multiple levels of access control allows you to restrict changes, posting new content, approval and publishing of content, and removing content globally, regionally, by group, or to a specific player.
  • Interactivity - Navori supports interactive content which also allows the user to trigger any third-party content or app using QL to deliver engaging and informative content on any platform. Show a loop of content to attract passers-by and launch any content with a touch.
  • Social Media - Leverage your own social media channels and populate your screens with constantly updated information from your Facebook page or Twitter account. QL syncs with your data sources regularly so new posts are displayed in real-time.
  • Instant Alerts - Navori offers at least three methods of triggering alert content:
    • Common Alert Protocol (CAP) - As soon as the source triggers an alert, every QL Player triggers the corresponding content alert message on screen. The alert message can be created in QL itself or uploaded to the system. Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) is a secure and standardized data format for exchanging public warnings and emergency notices.
    • The device or third-party software app communicates directly with each QL Player to trigger the appropriate content. The alert will instantly appear on all affected screens.
    • The third method requires the creation of a middleware app that you interface with a physical device. When an emergency occurs, the device will generate a data feed. QL will use this data to trigger an alert across your screens.
